The kid we have been recruiting the hardest is Javian Fleming who is an unranked center, of which we have 3 on the roster (4 that could spend time there, 2 of which are studs). Avery goes after kids he likes regardless of need so I wouldn't just look at the offer list to try to determine what is or isn't a need. Right now, there's a high probability that Sexton is gone which leaves us with 2 scholarship PGs on the roster for 2018-19. If they don't recruit another PG, they must believe Lawson is ready to play. Otherwise one injury to AJjr or Ingram sinks that team. I think Lawson can play at this level, but most are skeptical.
