Gregg Marshall talks likely dead in the water...

CM Plan B.

Make it happen Sterk.

I'm not sure whether or not I should equip my Mizzou NutCup™ with Sterk.

Did the Marshall deal get killed? Heard he was our first choice.

No idea. Just running on rumors and innuendo at this point.

I don't think GM is coming, but that's solely my opinion.

If you want to hold out hope, that's up to you. There are rumors of a Sunday announcement, but again, rumors.

If Crean makes it to the dance, and wins a game or two....... Is his job safe?.... Ive been reading up on him this week, and was surprised to see a gofundme page set up for his buyout....... He doesn't seem to have much support, which is a bit surprising even for IU.

I agree Marshall is a dream......... A good dream, but still a dream at this point.

Crean would be great.

No CM..... There are better options out there... Just one mans opinion

I think there's a strong effort for Crean right now.

I feel like CM is just a guy, and am hoping for Crean. The fact that he may be under appreciated at IU makes me think that he's our target right now.
One foot out the door, etc.

They may have GM on the back burner, but I don't think that's the case. I think that ship has sailed for whatever reason.

With Crean losing tonight, will he still make the dance with 17-15, with those two big wins? If not... I would think he's gone??

Which would bode well for our chances I would think

He won't make the dance unless he wins the Big 10 tourney.

Nope. The question remains..... Will they fire him........ personally, I think they would be idiots...... However, the more and more I read the fans want him gone

I agree. I think if he gets to the championship game, they may keep him. If not, there might be as much or more momentum to get rid of him than there was with KA. Not sure the powers that be can keep him without having something like a championship game to hang their hat on.

Then he's done at Indiana I'd bet.

Just read a post over on rivals... Saying expect an announcement shortly from IU...... Taken with a grain of salt of course.

Still a bit surprised that the fans want him gone so bad.. I mean damn, two huge wins early, then the injury bug bit.

Seems likely.

I'm sure Sterk will slow play this and wait to see if IU dumps him first. Might be up to Crean though, maybe he won't want the public shame of being dumped. Who knows.

The next 48 hrs. just got interesting.

They're basically Husker football fans who think it's still decades ago.

Exactly.

This is like buying a bitchin' used car for a great price from someone who's tired of it and wants a bright shiny new one to look at in their garage.
