re: OT- St Augustine Grass

Long leaf pine straw sells for about $5 a bundle in Atlanta. Short leaf about $4. Wheat straw about the same.
As for St. Augustine grass, I have about a half acre back yard of St. Augustine in full sun and it is great. Doesn't grow tall but it sends out runners and chokes out the weeds. In the shade it doesn't grow well and it goes dormant in dry weather.
