This is inaccurate. They enact gun control as a way to increase "public safety". Check Mussolini, Hitler, Castro, Stalin, and etc.
There is a real reason why the 2nd Amendment is at #2 behind freedoms of the 1st. At the same time, we are blessed, as citizens, we have not had to use it in the exact way it was intended (tyrannical government (this can be debated somewhat)).

McCain wants to go to war with every country it seems, and going to war is something many dictators want to do.
