Feel like that is geared towards a kid that is kicked out and then goes straight to the draft. Kelly fricked up, transferred to EMCC, then did enough to transfer to Ole Miss and had been a pretty decent kid by all accounts since then.
This sounds like punishing the kid for something he's already taken the heat for and come out on the other side of.

Also he wasn't dismissed for criminal activity, the dude argued with his coaches. Is that a federal case now?
