He threw a couple of good, accurate balls in games at Alabama, I wouldn't deem him as having a "great, accurate arm" based on just that, especially considering how much of a turnover machine he was in scrimmages.

We heard that Barnett turned the ball over several times in 2 scrimmages, but we heard that Barnett was a very good quarterback for the nearly 2 years he was here.

Barnett may have turned the ball over in those 2 practices, but Hurts turned the ball over a heck of a lot in real live games the whole year long. That's not hyperbole. That's a fact.

"Our football team's culture is to do your job" you say. Well, Hurts didn't do his very well vs Clemson, and it cost us a national title. Call that one hyperbole if you want to. I call it a damn shame, especially considering the elite wide receivers we had.

Well I suppose he regressed.

I guess Barnett should have practiced better, that way he would've had an opportunity to turn the ball over in real lives games

You are being obtuse, but that is to be expected.

I think I will just call it "retarded."

Barnett was a quitter. He might have been the most talented quarterback on roster, but he wasn't competitive enough to prove it. If he was as good as he thought he was, he should have stayed until the end of the year and he maybe could have beat out Hurts. I know he had a good reason for leaving, but it doesn't change the fact that he quit on his team.
