I never realized arky has a solid history dating back beyond the 1970s.

why do you think that it sucks to be us now?

We know that we have the available talent pool, facilities, we just need the right coach!

Anyone you know?

Solid history throughout our program, since it started. Arkansas started basketball a lot later than most schools, yet still has more overall wins than 80% of the other programs all time. This is the 94th year of basketball at Arkansas.

For example...This is Indiana's 117th season of basketball, yet Arkansas only trails them all time by just over 100 victories. Arkansas is also tied with Indiana in all time win pct(64%). Both programs rank inside the top 15 of power programs all time in that category.

Arkansas has been to a Final Four in three different decades. The first being in the 1940's.

Arkansas didn't have a losing season in basketball until 1952. So that was almost 30 consecutive seasons of winning basketball prior to one of the low points in program history. From 1953-1972 Arkansas had 14 losing seasons. The worst stretch in program history. In 1973, Eddie Sutton was hired. From 1973 to 2001, again Arkansas did not have a losing season. Since 2001, Arkansas has had 5 losing seasons. Another rough stretch in the road.

Historically its a very solid program that has just seemed to have lost its way lately. I am not sure if Mike can right the ship or not.
