Being the OC at Alabama would broaden his head coaching opportunities exponentially more than USF.

Would it though? Does him having a top offense at USF, really hurt him more than having a 20th offense or so at Bama?

Serious question

Hurt him? No.

Would learning organizational structure, recruiting contacts, strength and conditioning programs, etc. from Saban help him get a head coaching job more than being an OC at South Florida? Absolutely.
