As WU stated, they win some games with these kids in the stands and everything changes. That is more dependent on what Hill, Haley and Brian Odom do with their position groups than anything the HC is doing. Ford and Cross aren't going to quit recruiting him, either.

Navy, I really do not understanding what you are saying past that winning will help. Regarding the rest I am totally confused.

The HC is where it all starts and where the buck stops. BOs ego is why we have the current assts and who by his position is required to LEAD. Because he chose to avoid strong leaders who may have conflicted with his "ego" their shortcomings are his shortcomings, no excuses. This applies not only to on field performance but recruiting as well.

Yes to this. Nothing is done until signing day. The Steers put up another season like the last few seasons and his commitment probably won't be so solid.

San Diego guy - Please get off this board.

I don't know what your deal is, but your negative view of Odom appears to be personal. Did he dump your daughter in college or something?

What are you talking about? He has hired guys that have proven themselves at other successful P5 schools. He did not go hire a bunch of unproven D3 coaches. His OL coach choice is looking genius so far. His OC coach choice was a big step in the right direction after the monstrosity we saw in Pinkel's final year. He kept Ford and Hill for recruiting purposes.

Like many of your arguments on this board, this one makes no sense.
