Yeah there's a bunch of native American town names that people not from Alabama can't pronounce. Eufaula, Opelika, Oneonta, Wedowee, Arab (Ay-rab), Loachapoka, Lafayette (la-FAY-it), Flomaton ... but I thought this was more about ridiculous, funny names than hard to pronounce ones

Honestly, Mobile should be on your list. I bet Northerners have no idea how to properly say Mobile, AL.
A lot of those names are Native, and probably only give the people who aren't from the south trouble, as we see a lot of those names down south. There's actually a Eufala also in Oklahoma. Oneonta probably follows a pronounciation like Oneida, also in Oklahoma.
