the article also says that Butch Jones coaches Miami to greatness and gives credit to Larry Coker for maintaining it.

And it looks like Notre Dame, Michigan, Ohio State and USC did some Alabama math in the last few years. Last I looked, Notre Dame was claiming about 7 or 8 and they were the closest to Bama's total before they went on this run, now they all claim double digits.

The Jets knew better. They signed both Joe Namath and John Hurate. They gave Namath a $400K signing bonus and gave Hurate $200k. Did Hurate ever even play!?
