When Michael Sam was going through the draft it was everywhere because he was gay. Bruce Jenner got the Arthur Ashe award because he changed his gender, and when the gay marriage ruling was changed it dominated news coverage and called a historic ruling.

If someone is gay then so be it live your life I will live mine. I don't choose that lifestyle and I choose not to be around it but I don't want to hear about how some guy is getting drafted and he recently came out of the closet who really cares. It wasn't something that impacted his ability to play the game so let's not talk about it.

Bruce Jenner changed his name and his private parts and that takes courage, Seriously? That doesn't take courage that takes following the ideals of our culture, esp in California, and money. It also takes a lot of insecurity in ones own identity. At the time of his sex change, Jenner had absolutely nothing to do with athletics yet he is praised with the same award as Jim Valvano among others. Get out of here.

That's what I mean when I am talking about the left pushing the gay agenda. If it actually impacted athletics then so be it but it doesn't and it wasn't as historic and the majority did not want the change in ruling as the left said they did.
