reality is SEC fans like to piggyback on Alabama's success, and as an excuse.

hopefully the SEC coaches are trying to beat ALabama rather than suck up to Alabama, like the fans. lol

I am an Auburn fan and quite proud of our 2 SEC titles, 1 National title and 1 National Runner-Up over the last 6 seasons. We also had 8 wins 3 times that I suspect would have been 10 wins if we played in other conferences because each of those years our teams had a glaring weakness that was exposed under the pressure of high level competition.

All since 2002...

*Alabama has 4 National Titles and played for another
*Florida has 2 National Titles
*LSU has 2 National Titles and played for another
*Auburn has 1 National Title... played for another... and got screwed not being able to play for another
*Georgia has won 2 SEC Titles and finished in the Top 5 three times.
South Carolina has finished in the Top 5
Arkansas has finished in the Top 5
Missouri has finished in the Top 5
Texas A&M has finished in the Top 5

all while the historical #2 team in the conference has been at their program low point and are suffering by having to wait 18 years and waiting since their last National Title.

It is pretty rich for fans from the Florida State Athletic Conference to be accusing the SEC of piggybacking on one team's success... but leave it to the fans of Clemson come lately to try to do just that.
