this i sjust more conference cheerleading. this is why people hate SEC fans.

the reality is alabama always wins SEC b/c it is not that competitive and little creativity on offense.

Every other metric to define conference strength since 2004 disputes this assertion. Alabama is the biggest bully in a yard full of felons. I would argue this season was the first where the SEC was truly not the most complete league in the country since 2004. Facts would support that argument. Head to head against other power 5 teams, wins over other ranked power 5 teams, etc...

I will add this to my post it helps define what I suggested.

Exactly. The SEC had its worst season in 15 years and the ACC had its best season probably ever. What does that produce:

*ACC ends up with 5 ranked teams at the end of the year (#1, #8, #16, #20, #21)
*SEC ends up with 5 ranked teams at the end of the year (#2, #13, #14, #22, #24)

The fans in the same conference as Boston College and Wake Forest are telling us that the SEC has no offensive creativity.

Average Teams' Offensive Yards per Game against non-conference opponents in 2016:

BIG 12- 492.7 yards/game
PAC 12- 445.5 yards/game
SEC- 440.8 yards/game
ACC- 436.6 yards/game
BIG 10- 413.8 yards/game

Somehow the average SEC team still produced more offensive yardage in games against other conferences than the ACC... despite this "lack of creativity."
