This really surprised me as well. He had so many fumbles. I didn't get it.

He fumbled so much, Saban made him start going through strip drills with the RB's.

Yea, can't wait to have another true freshman starting who has to spend an entire year adjusting to the speed of the game and throwing to spots. Sounds like a fantastic idea. Tua would be adjusting from Hawaii public high school defenses to Florida State, LSU and Auburn. I'm sure he'd just fly right through it with no issues

Quick, somebody tell me the last true freshman QB who immediately appeared to be in charge of the offense and able to throw route trees?

Jalen has to improve a lot in his passing, both accuracy wise and reading things. The biggest jump for this is usually between the first and second year, especially for a true freshman. If he isn't better next year, then it will be time to start wondering and thinking about other options. Until then, this is silliness.
