The proof is in the pudding. Did SC win the East two years in a row? No. Would I like more offense? Does the pope shite in the woods? Of course we would. But throwing out some arbitrary stat that clearly did not affect the outcome of the East, let alone the Florida win over Carolina, is pointless.

The naive pumpers will shut up eventually, same as Muschamp after a four win season. They can't see the obvious, and it's sad. Mac is a good coach, but not great. He isn't near the coaching level of elite coaches, nor even remotely close to a good recruiter. Delusional douches like Straws can cover their eyes, but its whatever. The talent gap grows worse each year he recruits, and he lacks the ability to beat teams with more talent. See Fsu, Bama, Michigan.
