Jacob Eason was supposed to be (and may still be) one of the best pro-style QBs in a long time to come out of high school. He was polished and had NFL tools. Now, he didn't have a great supporting cast, but still, these were his numbers......

Being a true freshman QB at a high level like the SEC is incredibly difficult. Nobody does it well, nobody, not for a full season. The fact that Jalen pushed through it and kept playing relatively well and exerted leadership is amazing.
