Exactly. The coaching staff made the decision since he wasn't 100% and Fournette agreed. Taking his future into consideration it's foolish to play the bowl game while still injured.
It's another opportunity for misinformed Bama fans to criticize him and disregard his talent.

Coaching staff now has an excuse when L6U gets mud holed in the bowl.
