I don't think we botched the coaching search. O exceeded expectations, the team played great, Tiger Fans were energized, and the two top candidates - Jimbo and Herman turned us down. Alleva and the Prez, BoD & TAF decided to give their #3 option the job. This will turn out to be a great hire. Talking heads look at stats. Les had a good run, but the energy was out of the team and program. Time for a change.

Does anyone here believe that Miles would have done better than 5-2 in the last seven games?
I believe Miles had outstayed his welcome at LSU and it was definitely time for him to go--should have been in 2015.
Yes, Alleva did not put forth a diligent effort on the coaching search.
