I think we learned a couple of things:

1. He's mortal
2. It's difficult to field a good defense these days
3. Any defensive coordinator, good or bad, will struggle under a coach like Sumlin who uses a finesse offense
4. Our S&C program still has a way to go

I think this is something that really needs to be stressed, Bama is even a good example to look at in this regard.
