I don't think it will take that level by to rebuild.
This roster is full or freshmen & sophomores that would be great as role players. As experienced upperclassmen with 1 or 2 impact newcomers Mizzou can be a NCAA caliber team by 2018-2019 season.

KA isn't going to land an impact newcomer, the next coach might.

It's astonishing how few people see this.

But we're in the pit of despair. No improvement. Worse than ever. 9,10,11 wins.

The behavior has been equivalent to the guy's sitting around having beers who can't talk geo-politics, instead they just say 'bomb em all'.

KA has set up a healthy foundation built with sustainability in mind. It's going exactly as I thought it would. Guy comes in, gets things cleaned up, gets quality core role players, organizes the file cabinets, sweeps up the darkest corners of the coaches offices, navigates us out of the water the pimp-daddy, back-alley deal maker captained us into, and then gets replaced by someone who can bring in a couple game changers and build off the sound foundation.

Continuing to assert this doesn't make it true. The sum of our violations were 1) a no-show summer job which amounted to less than $2000 total for multiple players, 2) Fuller giving a name to Gant's mom for a contact to get a place to rent for which she paid FMV, 3) friends and family discount at a local hotel (which probably didn't exceed a discount they could have received from booking on Priceline) and 4) a GA giving car rides to the hotel from the stadium.

That's not a pimp daddy culture no matter how much you wish it was.
