I wonder what the hell CHF is selling recruits right now, today?

Well we arent doing well so its not working, but he's telling them if it is worse than they expect then he will give them their release.

So a recruit has a choice, go to the school he wants and if its bad he can leave or go to the school he likes second who wont release them back to OM if the sanctions arent as bad as the people who are recruiting against OM are saying. OM has incentive to suggest the sanctions will be light and other programs have incentive to exaggerate the punishments. So OM is giving them a choice that other schools will not if they are wrong.

For instance Myles Brennan is being told that OM is getting a 4 year bowl ban which is ridiculous. OM is telling recruits the worst that will come down is 18-20 scholarships and a 1 year ban. If it is worse than that we will release you to any school you desire. Seems fair to me but Im bias.

Sure it's fair but they still have to sit out a year if they transfer. You're baiting them in knowing that they will have to sacrifice a year of their career and sever the relationships they made in the process.

Being "fair" doesn't mean it isn't a shitty deal for them to take.

That being said, it's what you have to do. It's not like you can just stop recruiting until it's all settled. But what you can do is not lie to them, which maybe they aren't, I for damn sure don't know.
