After adding commitments from JUCO defensive linemen Rashad Brandon and Nathaniel Anderson over the weekend, the Tigers now have 16 confirmed commitments for their 2017 recruiting class.
That number could be at 17 with an unconfirmed commitment that has been included in the Tigers’ recruiting Twitter account map.
Another commitment is expected on Tuesday, which puts the number at 17 (or 18) already.
Using the 16 confirmed commits, Missouri’s class breaks down as nine offensive players (one quarterback, three wide receivers, one tight end and four offensive linemen) and seven defensive players (three defensive linemen, two linebackers, one cornerback and one safety).
The Tigers are still targeting several players for their remaining spots and could add two (or three) running backs as well as more players at wide receiver, offensive line, defensive line, linebacker and in the secondary.
One interesting aspect of this recruiting class will be seeing who the Tigers can sign who can enroll early — Brandon and Anderson are both possibilities as junior college transfers — and who wouldn't count against the 25-signee limit in February.
They didn't get that commitment Tuesday like this article says and the unconfirmed commit might be the wr Gardiner who Mizzou has never confirmed.

Mizzou can actually take more than 25. The 2 JUCO DLs are both early enrollies so could count towards the 2016 class.

Great info but you should probably post it in the recruiting thread.
