I kinda wish you would have deleted it. Atl....the special teams coach? Come on...we tried to fake punt to # 93 Bryan and it went right off his hands...but frick...he is a DL. The punter grabbed it (great hands) instead but then paly was doomed. If Bryan catches the snap..we get a first down. The blocked punt? First one this year as I recall.

You are correct that we could not run the ball, and that dooms any offense...our only hope was passing and Bama knew it. If we had enough completions early on...and no turnovers? Pachyderm fans would be shitting their pants but we did and they didnt. Could not throw deep much at all with their DL. Harkless was being run over and its not his fault...he isnt a starter. 3rd string center tried his best...our guys played hard in the face of officials overlooking holds, blocks in the backs, PIs, you name it.

I won't blame the refs. They missed calls but not 38 points worth of calls.

We got beat by a better team. But we didn't do anything to help ourselves out. Appleby was pathetic. He hit a couple of the dozens of wide open receivers we had and threw for 261. Can you imagine what we'll be doing when we have an elite arse quarterback throwing dimes all over the field? I can't fricking wait.

You just simply can't give Bama extra possessions and free points like we did. We had a chance in that game. We just didn't have a quarterback that had what it takes to win that game. It sucks but it's the way it is.

And my beef with the special teams coach is the lack of aggressiveness trying to block punts. I thought it was a bad call to go for the fake in that situation. I like that we're blocking kicks and shite again, but the special teams under Mac have been very meh.
