about this....

Big jobs like UF, ND, tu, UT, Washington, VT, Auburn and A&M are currently filled by guys who jumped from G5. The other options seem to be recycled big names (Bama, OSU, UM, Miami) or top level coordinators (OU, USC, UGA, FSU, MSU, Oregon, Stanford, Clemson) mostly with ties to the school that hired them.

The only top level jobs I can think of that are currently filled by a coach that jumped from a P5 is PSU and the weird Nebraska situation. Obviously Miles fit in that category too but it seems a fairly rare thing actually and suggests "P5 training" in entirely unnecessary.

And particularly for a guy like Morris, who has already been a top level coordinator and a G5 coach (the two most common types of hires), I think it does little to nothing to enhance his resume.
