If Bama ends up playing Tennessee in the SEC Championship
It will be the first time, 26 years into the SECCG's existence, that it featured of rematch of (current) perennial cross-division rivals.
Alabama has played both the Pussy Gators and Georgia in the SECCG, but never Tennessee.
LSU has played both Georgia and Tennessee in the SECCG, but never the Pussy Gators.
Auburn has played both Tennessee and the Pussy Gators in the SECCG, but never Georgia. (Note: AU and the Pussy Gators were perennial rivals when they met in the SECCG in 2000, but are not currently).

Our only chance is the Bama RBs not knowing what to do with such wide open running lanes. Our DL now consists of Derek Barnett, who is definitely a monster, but can only do so much. The DTs are trying; but when you're 240lbs going against 300lb SEC OLs, it's going to get ugly, and has. Phillips moving inside has been a pleasant surprise in that he's produced some in a short amount of time at the position, but he's definitely undersized to be in there. The defense as a whole is incredibly banged up. Doubt Shoop imagined having to compete with 4th and 5th stringers all over the field during his first year in the SEC.
They definitely look better on offense without Hurd, and the team chemistry seems better. I still don't like Debord at OC, but the offense has looked better now that he doesn't have to give it to Hurd and watch him run straight ahead for 2yds. Kelly and Kamara definitely fit the system better. Almost seemed like Lyle felt obligated to start Hurd even though he didn't fit the system at all(and Kamara had already shown much more production), b/c he was a 5* instate recruit.
