I've been thinking about this.. I would be interested to know how many other games Heydt has worked for Clemson. I'm sure it's not just been this season.

To each his own I say, but they should be grateful that UM and UW are scared to play Bama too and pissed their games away.

Don't the updated CFP rankings come out tonight? I am interested to see where they fall given the fact that everyone behind them lost too. Pitt was unranked and beat Clemson. Iowa was unranked and beat Michigan. SC was ranked and beat Washington.

The SC loss is definitely a "quality loss" compared to the others but I think the committee is going to screw UW again, JMO. Which is a real shame considering how down the Pac 12 has been in the national spotlight and opinion. If they take the beauty contest out of the books I would see it like this:

1. Bama
2. OSU
3. Lville
4. Washington

Clemson has been playing down to their opponents all season while UW has been blowing people out of the water. I know their SOS is a good bit weaker than Clemsons' but still you have to look at avg margin of victory too.

I guess we'll have to wait and see tonight.

Edit: I realize UW shouldn't be rewarded for losing, but I don't think they should fall as hard as the others given they were upset by a legit good team.

I have a tater who sits next to me at work, he's actually a good guy, but he was on this Heydl better hope I don't see him in public wagon yesterday as well. Guess they don't care about their crap OCs calling for a pass on the goal line, or Datboy going for it with a run on 4th and 1 when the same play just failed on 3rd and 1, or any of the other boneheaded calls like making Deshaun throw the ball 70 times and completely forgetting they have a capable RB.

To each his own I say, but they should be grateful that UM and UW are scared to play Bama too and pissed their games away.

He and his crew have called multiple Clemson games over the past few years. I've seen him on tv doing Clemson games in previous years.

Clemson fans are just looking for an excuse. That guy who sits to you at work making comments like that is pathetic and needs to get a grip.

I figured as much but wasn't sure and they're def looking for an excuse.

And yes, told the guy behind me the same thing while pointing out the myriad of other things besides two penalties that lost them the game. Hasn't spoken to me since

Those crews are clearly non-biased and the best in the biz.

Don't forget FSU either...that "chop block" on Cook's big run late in the 4th had huge implications on that game.
