To OP - We are the sumtotal of our experiences. I think CNS learned some things after he left LSU (from observation and experience while at Miami) that he brought with him to Bama. I think he could have accomplished much the same at LSU... but NOT exactly the same.

LSU has a strong hold on a rich recruiting pool. I think he could have won multiple championships there had he stayed
