Looks like a Carolina win.

We may not win this game, though we have a great shot if Bentley continues to play well, but you can bet our guys will put out an exceptional effort for Muschamp. They know how much this win would mean to him, and the momentum we have is real. Florida better bring their best game of the season if they hope to win.
Anyone else having problems containing their excitement thinking about the next few years? That Muschamp hire is looking better and better.

It levels the playing field for us a bit. UF has a stout defense, although lately they have struggled and with these losses for Saturday, they should continue to struggle. LB play has been the strength of their defense going back before Muschamp and Meyer even.
They are struggling big time with QB play and with their run game. 3 of the last 4 games they couldn't gain 250 total yds of offense, and the one they did was against Missouri.
I still expect the Gators to be focused and hyped for this game due to what it means with Muschamp returning plus the fact that they still are playing for the division title. But the big matchup issue for the game was always going to be our offense against their defense, so them losing some of their key defensive players only helps our cause.
And having a new QB-Center combo for their offense can't hurt either....

I don't think there will be a huge dropoff here. Neither is a great QB, but Appleby might be more mobile. We need to be ready for him to scramble.

Absolutely the most significant losses to their squad. They don't have Muschamp guys as backups. They have 3* Freshmen Randy Shannon backups playing. The drop off in ability will be apparent. This will help Bentley's short pass game and our chances of running the ball to the 2nd+ level.

Chris Thompson WR (Can't find any stats)
Handles some KO Return duties, but so did other, so his absence is not really relative to our matchup.

Tyrie Cleveland WR
Doesn't play, not relative to our matchup (no stats)
quote:
Mark Herndon RB (No significant stats)
less than 5 carries this season, not relative to our matchup.

CeCe Jefferson DE (#5 on their team in TFL)
Now this could be significant. He's a starting DE, but also their #1 Backup for both NT and DT if for some reason their starters couldn't 'GO'. He has some type of foot injury. He has some Muschamp guy backups though, Sherit has been productive this season as a backup.

Meh, we have a real shot but I don't know. Our run defense is atrocious and for some reason our opponents seem to abandon it.. even after it's going well. With a new QB I'd imagine they'd like to run the ball even more now.

Chin up tGW. My mind goes back to just two short weeks ago. We played a UT team that couldn't throw for shite and we keyed on the run. We held those bastards to 3.7 ypc. Now if we are going to panic, their DL vs our OL is cause for concern.

Now if Galloway could be suspended for conduct that would be gravy.

One of the best combinations of irony and karma ever to exist.
After all of their talk about how Muschamp couldn't develop/coach or effectively recruit on offense, and particularly how he couldn't find a qb worth a shite and/or ruined the ones he had, we are now developing quite a prolific offense with, quite possibly, the best qb in the SEC under the very same coach that they have shite talked the hell out of. Our offensive recruiting efforts have also been stellar. All while they suffer the exact same woes they loudly proclaimed were Muschamp's fault but under a new coach they hailed and praised as the one who would restore them to their long ago glory days. They particularly gloated to the point of being nauseatingly obnoxious after they won the East last year..conveniently ignoring the fact that it was Muschamp's recruits who were responsible for that achievement.
And lest I forget to mention their constant whining about injuries under Muschamp's watch and how he was responsible for how many that occurred. Seems like yet another example of irony and karma combined since they are currently suffering an even more prolific epidemic of injuries under McElwain than they did during Muschamp's tenure.
Whether we beat them or not this weekend, the whole situation screams irony almost as loud as a jam-packed Willy-B during an epic beat down of the taters.
And the karma of the whole situation and every single negative word that the Gators have launched at Boom, and us, since we hired him speaks for itself.
TL;DR: KARMA IS A SALTY BITCH WITH A SEVERE AND UNTREATABLE CASE OF PMS WHO WILL EXACT DELICIOUSLY HORRIFIC REVENGE WHEN IDIOTIC, LSU DUCKING, FAKE HURRICANE FEARING, FULL RETARD BASTARDS DARE TEST HER.

The thought of Uncle Rico getting to the 2nd level vs their backups makes me giddy...
