What happened just woke up

3 & out, defense gets a pick and offense gets stopped in the red zone. 3-0

Offense has no excuse for this.
We are officially awful on both sides of the ball right now.

Honestly we probably need to replace both coordinators. If we really want to keep Warner, make him a QB coach, but we need someone who can call plays on offense. Let Freeze focus on recruiting and the big picture.
I really don't know why more teams don't try the Clemson model

A head coach who can recruit, but a smallish salary (think like 3 mil). An offensive coordinator and defensive coordinator who make 1+ mil each and have total control on their side of the ball.
Basically, the head coach recruits and focuses on the big picture, but on game days is relatively unimportant in terms of calling plays.
Dabo Sweeny was a WR coach at Clemson before being given the head job. He is one hell of a recruiter, and has great assistants and he stays out of their way.
ETA: Dabo has certainly grown as an actual coach, but he still has great assistant's who he gives a lot of control to. Despite his success, he still makes less than Freeze right now.

We need that model.
Hugh certainly doesn't deserve to be the 9th highest paid coach.
This team desperately needs new coaching staff.

If Wommack isn't fired today we will soon witness the beginning of the end of the Hugh Freeze era.

Like I said earlier, I don't know why more teams don't try that model (I have theories on why, but that isn't relevant right now).
Clemson has used it to great success, and I think we could be successful using it to. It's a perfect model for a school like us

I heard them mention Youngblood is hurt. Of course.

Looked like they put an air cast on Youngblood's leg...
He probably gone for the year.

I swear we've been the most injured team in the nation every year under Freeze
