Yep he got us back to respectable and has reached his limit. Ancient Rome went out with a bang.

My opinion, FWIW. This coaching staff continually puts the team in a hole that they have been lucky to dig themselves out of a few times this year. Dobbs is a great kid, but might be the only qb Ive ever seen that given time in the pocket to throw seems to always make a bad decision. And as for the strength and conditioning coach, that sumbitch oughta have to find his own ride home. Im glad hunting season has started so I will have something else to do on Saturdays besides having to watch this staff throw games away. GBO and have a nice evening, guys.

This will be a minority opinion but I am ready for Hurd and Dobbs to graduate, I like them both but they are not next level players. Dobbs will be making more money than me the day he graduates anyway.

Yeah.
That Bentley kid is pretty fricking good, but geez.
Lack of offense tonight and INTs by Dobbs.

I have been ready to move on from Dobbs since last year. Just held my tongue because obvious reasons.
Doesn't matter, we need a new coaching staff

you wont get any argument from me. Dobbs has been a solid player for this program and is responsible for winning alot of games, but he just doesnt have the decision making ability to be a consistant SEC qb.

"Oh, somewhere in this favoured land the sun is shining bright,
The band is playing somewhere, and somewhere hearts are light;
And somewhere men are laughing, and somewhere children
shout,
But there is no joy in Knoxville —mighty Dobbsy has struck out."
Sorry, Mr. Thayer.

I am not a fan of Butch on game day, but he can recruit like Fulmer but doesn't surround himself with top coordinators, Shoop might be ok but Debord can suck my fricking dick.

A god damn bye week and we play the worst game of the season that is fricking inexcusable

Fire them all. Dobbs is out at season's end. Let Hurd take a timeout for thw rest of the seask. Bring in a deserving staff. ?????. Profit.

It baffles me how we have some of the worst coaches in all of sports here at Tennessee.
We have been a beacon of mediocrity for way too long. Its year 4 following a loss to a horrible USCe and Butch wants the fans to be patient and assures us "There's still alot of football to be played".
frick him. Debord should resign after that embarrassment.

"Still a lot of football to be played? If I was him I'd be frantically trying to figure out how I'm going beat candy and Kentucky
Honestly we may have to worry about Mizzou as well

Yep. We'll only keep him if we're ok with consistent 8-4, borderline top 25, and 2nd to Florida in the east. On top of the ingame coaching malpractice, he fails to get the team adequately prepared with 2 full weeks to do it.
I'm willing to give him credit for the improvements he has made, but it's in our best interests to can his arse now.

Obviously I haven't been his biggest fan for a while now but even I am astonished at that performance coming out of a BYE week. It's baffling

I was off the Lyle train last year after the Arkansas game, he had a chance to redeem himself, but failed to do so on several occasions.
