VOLS have made as many SECCG appearances in the Georgia Dome as Texas A&M, Arkansas, South Carolina, Ole Miss, Mississippi State, Vanderbilt, Kentucky and Missouri combined.

So in other words you're the biggest underachiever?

Do Bama or Florida. Might be able to add Tennessee to the littles.

VOLS have the same number of appearances as LSU, Auburn and UGA. And that's including the worst 7 year stretch in VOLS history.

LSU, Auburn, Georgia, and Tennessee all with 5 SECCG's apiece. Only 2 of those have winning records in the SECCG (the West teams).
Five East teams and five West teams have made the SECCG.
Three West teams have winning records in the SECCG.
Only one East team has a winning record in the SECCG.

In 2008 the East led all SECCG's 10-5. West now leads 12-10

I was a-fixin' to correct you here, but then my memory kicked in.
I forgot about the SEC playing the first 2 in that horrible hole of a stadium, Lesion Field.

Yep, first 2 were played in Legion Field.
Bama won in 92 & Florida won in 93.

Big 2
Half of SECCG winners in Atlanta have been Bama or Florida (11/22)
One third of ALL SECCG's have featured both Bama AND Florida (8/24)

East is 10-12 against the west in the dome???? Records pretty even. Yes, its one sided past couple years, but it will eventually rotate back....always does

Damn it, genro. Public erections are frowned up

Still going by fading memory here, but wasn't the weather in at least one of them totally horrible December Birmingham weather?

That's a great statistic that clearly exhibits how silly it is for those that clamor about realigning the SEC due to the supposed stronger west/weaker east.
