Very true. And he wasn't a polished WR out of LSU as he was a converted RB. He wasn't a burner but understood separation, timing, and had great hands.

I remember we played Illinois in the Sugar Bowl that year. They had 2 CBs that were both projected 1st rounders, and they were trash talking how they were going to shut down Reed. They both lost their pride and a lot of money that day after Reed caught 14 passes for 239 yds and 2 tds. Michael Clayton chipped in with 8 for 120. Was a great day =)

Yep, his size helped him with his YAC, a lot of those yards came on quick slants where he broke the first tackle. Beastly at WR.
