I like where the basketball and baseball programs are trending. I would like to start seeing our men's basketball staff under Coach Martin target in-state recruiting better than they have, as we have quite a lot of elite in-state talent coming up (and have been coming up) that are 5* and high 4* elite caliber, but are also looking to leave the state to other major programs.
I know - we got to start winning games in order to attract the better talent, but I'd at least like to see our staff jumping on that better talent that's in-state earlier anyways, and giving as much effort there as other OOS programs are doing. We recruited Seventh Woods and Devonta Shuler from the start, but seem to be lagging behind many others with Zion Williamson, Christian Brown, D.J. Burns, etc.
The 2019 in-state class is huge with talent. Hopefully we have another winning season and gain some headway with most of those prospects....

Coach Martin is working his tail off. This season is going to be critical for our future. We really need to make the dance this year ... that's what the kids wanna see. That and early playing time.
