What talent? This is not a talented team. Our receivers are slow, our defense is slow, our receivers are not elusive, our QB does not have the intangibles imo.

IMO...there are about 5 teams in the FBS that have a huge talent advantage, and we can all probably name them. Besides those 5, the talent difference is negligible. Which is why Houston can roll OU and then get rolled by SMU or West Virginia's rise and Notre Dame's fall.
The outside receivers aren't elusive but they are big, Wingo and Johnson are elusive, but there are very few plays being called for the slot receivers. We return a top 10 defense that has been coached to penetrate, now they have to learn something totally different, it's not easy to turn off all that muscle memory.
Where is our coaching experience?
1st year HC
1st year DC
Previously exiled OC
Pinkels guys were together so long they probably finished each others sentences. It would have been beneficial to have 2 experienced coordinators witha new HC.
