LSU is still alive in the west. All they have to do is beat Alabama and hope Auburn drops one more. Auburn wins out and they win the west

If this is all that happens, then Alabama wins the west.

Each has 1 loss in the West, plus A&M.

Each is 1-1 vs the other two.

It will get to G:

quote:

G. Changed: Combined SEC record of the team’s cross-divisional opponents

Alabama had Tennessee and Kentucky
Auburn has Vanderbilt and Georgia
Texas A&M had Tennessee and South Carolina

Once G has eliminated one of those teams then the two-way tie breaker comes into play.

None of the tiebreakers involve rankings (any more) or records against OOC foes.

That's only if the current standings stay in their current trends.

Alabama's East foes combined SEC record:
5-4 (both have already played Alabama)
Auburn's:
3-6 (and would have to lose two for AU to stay in)
Texas A&M:
3-6 (both have already played A&M)

That is likely going to end up in favor of A&M, but if both records end up the same then (though I don't think there's a scenario where AU's foes can get enough wins AND not beat AU as part of those), then it rolls back to AU vs A&M H2H - where A&M won that.

Then it is down to two teams, where Alabama wins the H2H vs A&M.

Three teams have the "division" title, but Alabama plays in the SECCG.
