I'll still take asphalt over concrete roads everyday. Even though concrete is more durable and cheaper in the long term. It's a pain in the arse to drive on.

our interstate system is 50 years old and it is wearing out. Trying to fix those things with all the traffic on them is also a night mare. There is no easy solution. If there was enough right of way I would rather see an entire new road be built next to the current one. This way you have a new product and it does not disrupt the current traffic flow. This would probbly be too costly. I have made 3 trips in the last 2 years west on either 10 or 20 heading to Tx from Alabama. There is construction going on constantly. Around Red Stick is horrible.
