What about 11 games but everyone plays a consolation game on championship Saturday. Division 2nd places play. 3rd places play. 7th places play. Extra cross division game and should all be somewhat competitive.
So 12 games including the championship weekend. Conference champions don't have to play a 13th. Then we can make an 8 team playoff.

There aren't any games worth a shite on Nov 19th, why not do away with the rent-a-win games and let the kids rest and heal?
