it was unusual for that official to make the call, but the players were turned around and it happended right in front of him.

He certainly isn't the first coach to lose his cool with the officials and he won't be the last.

See my thread here. where I originally posted that screenshot above. As I mentioned there, you can see at the 45:30 mark that the RT and Hand had moved into the RG slot, and that's the reason why the umpire was looking right at him. The umpire was looking in the guard hole, exactly where he's supposed to look.
Smart move by Bert apologizing though. He was about to get buttfricked by every officiating crew in the SEC. And that may happen anyway.

And yeah, now it appears that Bert is a bald faced liar.

And I'd also guarantee that Golic didn't go back and look at any video; he was just yammering because of what Blackledge said.
