al that is really not relevant. It's not about "sticking to your guns" or "playing road games". It's about the SEC commisiioner not forcing Florida to play this game when it could have ealitly been played.

He could have said to play the game Saturday or Sunday or Monday in Gainesville. He could have scheduled it at a neutral site or in Baton Rouge. The weather was fine on all those days at all those places. Weather reports are not a mystery these days. Everyone knew what the weather was going to be or could have been.

Florida's best choice would have been to agree with Alleva's suggestion to play in Gainesville on Sunday, contingent on the conditions. If things had gotten bad, Florida could have avoided the game without losing face. As it turned out, they look completely foolish.
