9 passing, 9 rushing.

Just for comparison's sake, Johnny Manziel had 14 passing and 10 rushing after 6 games, BUT:

vs. SEC and power 5 teams (6 games into the season):

Trevor Knight - 6 passing, 8 rushing
Johnny Manziel - 4 passing, 3 rushing

We're comparing a Senior graduate transfer who played a season for his previous school to a redshirt freshman who'd never taken a snap in college. Apples and oranges

Normally yes, but not when that redshirt freshman wins the heisman

Also, look at the offensive line Manziel had.

Luke Joeckel, Jarvis Harrison, Patrick Lewis, Cedric Ogbuehi, and Jake Matthews.

That's my whole point. Sorry if I wasn't clear.

Are both of those a sample size of 5 games? Did we play 5 P5 teams in the first 6 games in 2012? Not really accurate to compare stats with different sample sizes. At least put the number of P5 games they played otherwise it skews things. Pretty sure we played 3/6 P5 in 2012 and 5/6 in 2016.

I also included Manziel's first P5 game stats and Knight still had more scores.

Manziel had 6 passing TD, 6 rushing TD vs. the following schools: (record at the time the game was played)

#24 Florida 0-0 20-17 LOSS
Arkansas 1-3
Ole Miss 3-2
#6 LSU 6-1 24-19 LOSS
Auburn 1-6

Knight has 6 passing and 8 rushing touchdowns vs. the following schools: (record at the time the game was played)

#16 UCLA 0-0 31-24 WIN
Auburn 1-1
#17 Arkansas 3-0 45-24 WIN
South Carolina 2-2
#9 Tennessee 5-0 45-38 WIN

You compared 3 games for Johnny with 5 games for Trevor.

WHEN YOU ADD THE LSU AND AUBURN GAMES, Manziel still has 12 total (6 passing and 6 rushing) which is STILL fewer than Knight's 6 passing and 8 rushing.
