But my GOD are Lsu fans arse hurt over the whole Florida game announcement. They should do what most people already have, and get a fricking life! It ain't all about football. Find a hobby. Get outdoors. Do something with your life other than sulk over a meaningless football game.

It's been a pretty odd yet amazing out of the blue mega over the top melt to watch unfold; it's almost like they were looking for something to melt about other than their football team and just became the perfect storm. pun intended (sorry).

I know there are more important things, and I understand why they're pissed that the game isn't played. If our game was canceled I'd be a bit perturbed as well.
HOWEVER, the ways they've found to lash out are just mind blowing. Some of them think that the league office being in alabama somehow has something to do with it. Some on their board have been calling the SEC commissioner for days demanding he rationalize his decisions. Hell one guy proposed that all the LSU fans (and team!) go to Gainesville on Sunday and that would send a message to get the game played.
Those people live in a different world.

My favorite was people saying they were ok with the game being moved to Monday, but not 11/19, because that would only give them 5 days to prepare for A&M.
Maybe they're confused that would also give them 5 days to prepare, or they're actually scared of playing A&M on short rest.

My hatred for L5U fans comes as a Saints fan, not an Alabama fan.
I was cool with L5U fans until I had Saints' season tickets for 3 years. Going down to New Orleans 8 to 10 times in the fall and being around all the L5U fans on Saturday nights was miserable.

I was born in Baton Rouge and went back to work for another 3 1/2 years as an adult, and that is exactly what they are like. There are a lot of good people there. Pretty good food. Low state income tax.
But the LSU fans? Wow. Horrible roads. Hot and muggy weather. Always flooding. It's a very good place to be FROM. I wouldn't go back to live for anything.

Are they just pissed about losing a football Saturday(I mean I'd be pretty upset if the UGA-USCe got cancelled this weekend because I love football) or do they actually think they have a shot to finish 6-1 and get left out of the SECCG to Bama.
Like they seriously think they're going to beat Arky, Bama, and A&M after they got beat by Wisconsin and Auburn(AT HOME)?

I think the main source of frustration is they should definitely have won the game. UF is incredibly banged up and a win on the road @UF would be great for their season.
I think them talking about missing on the SECCG is just trying to rationalize their anger. They dont' have a shot in hades of making the SECCG.

Well, yes, I think you are right. But I also think they honestly believe, now that Miles is gone and Orgeron has taken over, they have gotten their offensive struggles taken care of. They are thinking they could honestly surprise people and win the West. I know LSU fans, and I can just about guarantee this is their line of thinking. They are anxious to try out their shiny new offense against a defense with a pulse to see if the ship has been righted.

If LSU or Florida win out now they'll get in over Bama or UT respectively. (Assuming UT loses 2 games). I can understand why they're upset, it's pretty easy to see that UF is avoiding playing them and using the hurricane as an excuse, for the reason of giving themselves a better shot at getting to Atlanta.

If lsu wins out, which means beating bama, bama finishes 7-1 and lsu 6-1, bama goes to sec.

You're right, still crazy that theoretically we could have an SECCG matchup of two teams who didn't play a complete conference schedule.

I think they have every right to be pissed. Florida took the easy way out and cancelled the game. A game that shouldn't have been cancelled in the first place. They're playing at least 2 other games in the state right now and Florida is hosting recruits today. I would be irate if I were an LSU fan.
