ADs who misstep this badly often get fired. Bjork, as far as I can tell, has extremely high job security.

So much butthurt at Bjork's bravado.

The NCAA is about to love us not so gently.

So still absolutly nothing has happened besides people being #MadOnline that we don't have the Death penalty already and Bjork hasn't been hung by a noose. I feel like I shouldn't even give a shite about this anymore.

I wouldn't. It's not like your life is hanging in the balance. If Freeze and company cheated, and were stupid/careless enough to get caught doing so, they deserve everything that's coming to them. Ole Miss football is an enjoyable aspect of fall for me, but it's not life or death, and never will be again, whether they're winning national championships, or losing 10 games a season.

This means nothing they split them once the new football investigations started. All it shows is our legal council was 100% correct with handling everything in these cases. Gives me faith in them.

Can you elaborate for someone who hasn't been keeping up with it much please.

If this investigation BS continues, we're going to miss out on Cam Akers, which would be terrible.

I just quit caring about the NCAA ... It's gonna be what it's gonna be... We have to lock down Little , Cam and some more DEs and LBs... I really like that Chevin Callaway kid out of TX too.. He'll play a lot of CB for us next season if he comes.

They split the cases once Ole Miss and the NCAA wanted to reopen the cases from the draft night stuff. That was before the NCAA even started looking into draft night. That means that these had nothing to do with the NCAA actually finding anything.

Also the NCAA gave show causes to all the coachs Ole Miss fired. Showing that Ole Miss legal council was right on about when to cut coaches lose and also they accepted all self imposed penalties only adding probation which they always add. Just shows how good our legal council was with its reply and what we self imposed.

Agreed. Inside information is that the NCAA is accepting our self-imposed penalties.

Hopefully NCAA accepts our proposed penalties. If not, our football program is about to be loved tenderly...

With everything that is "getting leaked" and how our AD leadership has sat on their hands, I am at the point it may be time to consider letting Björk go. Sorry but if these leaks are halfway accurate I would be on the phone with the COI Chair screaming bloody murder that their compliance staff has a hard-on and operating in an unethical manner. But it's like we consistently sit their and say:

You could be right, but just looking at it from the outside I feel like someone in the football department would have been let go by now. Seems like if they thought, or knew something, then they wouldn't let them stick around. I believe we get the penalties we asked for or they add in a couple more scholies. Don't see a show cause, tv or bowl ban coming. But who knows at this point. Just have to hope for the best and continue building.
