quote:
Some idiot drives in a ditch and dies wearing a Gator tshirt. His family sues the school and the state that he was rushing to get to LA to see the Gator game. Somebody has a heart attack laying on their couch. They are going to attribute it to the stress from the storm (even though he was eating 5 lbs of cheetohs every day) and he just so happen to be wearing a Gator or LSU shirt so the schools are responsible.
Holy shiot you are stupid.

Obviously you guys are not lawyers...
Weatherman can and have been sued for weather reports. Go figure.

Here's a case where UT was sued and lost for not cancelling school due to inclement weather. I can also show you cases where schools were sued because they cancelled school. You can't win for losing in this sue happy culture.

Here's an ad from a law firm looking for people make claims during weather events. Do you think this firm would be chomping at the bit at a school trying to have people drive through inclement weather during a damn hurricane???

Like it or not, you'd have to be an idiot school to schedule and keep a game during an anticipated hurricane.
