Not sure why you put quotes around screwed as if he said or even insinuated that. The article was putting into perpective that Alabama's recent run and UT's difficult alternating cross divisional opponent has happened to coincide with UT's recent historical struggles as a program. The record isn't scewed. It is what it is. Tennessee not only has had the most difficult permanent cross divisional opponent but have also had the most difficult slate of alternating opponents, which combine to make their yearly schedule that much more difficult compared to other eastern division teams.

Like I said, you pointing out that UT's permanent opponent is Alabama reinforces that argument
