I fail to see what difference that makes unless you're seeking validation for Alabama being good
Don't need validation for how good my team is, least of all from strangers on a message board. I'm fully aware of how good they are and I am enjoying the ride.
My point was that the 122-24 record is skewed somewhat by their permanent opponent, so it's not like the conference has "screwed" them with scheduling. I also said that the record of their west opponents was impressive either way, meaning even without the permanent opponent skewing the numbers somewhat.
the 122-24 record is winning percentage of 83.6%. If you look at just their cross division permanent the 62-7 record is 89.9%. The other west division opponents still have an impressive 77.9% even if you exclude Bama from their schedule. The point was that it is impressive either way.

Not sure why you put quotes around screwed as if he said or even insinuated that. The article was putting into perpective that Alabama's recent run and UT's difficult alternating cross divisional opponent has happened to coincide with UT's recent historical struggles as a program. The record isn't scewed. It is what it is. Tennessee not only has had the most difficult permanent cross divisional opponent but have also had the most difficult slate of alternating opponents, which combine to make their yearly schedule that much more difficult compared to other eastern division teams.
Like I said, you pointing out that UT's permanent opponent is Alabama reinforces that argument
