Nikki Haley should have waited until today to make any decisions about evacuations

Bingo. I have a good friend who is a meteorologist in Knoxville, and he has been watching this thing. He told me on Monday that meteorologists always give the worst-case scenario, and that with a hurricane, you really don't have a good idea of what it will do until less than 72 hours out. He said the late Wednesay/early Thursday runs would tell the most.

The early runs didn't detect a high pressure system that is fighting against the low pressure of the hurricane and could push it farther out to sea.

Charlie Bloom emailed The Early Game on 107.5 this morning and stated that it was the University's goal and intention to keep the game in Columbia as long as the safety of the players and fans were not compromised.

there's a guy on a UGA pay board that is some kind of insider when it comes to TV/logistics stuff. Idk what he does exactly, and he doesn't have any inside info on recruiting or the team, but he's always on point when it comes to stuff like these. He posted that he will be sitting in on some big meeting about the game and a decision will come this afternoon (rather than the morning), so I'd expect this afternoon we'll know for sure.

I'm gonna be worthless all day I know that.
