Defense for A&M game, JRM and Kirkland

I know everyone is still in the dark about these two, but speculatively, wouldn't it be great to have them back this week?? I think that defensively, the secondary is going to have to step up and play lights out next two weeks. I also think this is the type of game where after having a bad Florida game and being suspended last week, that Martin could come out and have the game of his life...

I was just about to post about this as well. I'll be curious if JRM and Kirkland will be back. It would be huge to have them back.

Think it is paramount that we get both back this week. UGA was one thing, but Knight will literally kill us scrambling if Mcdowell and Jumper are starting. They're not fast enough to contain him.

Keeping Kirkland out this long has kept everyone on edge for obvious reasons, and I am sure if he could go he would. Either way you look at the next two weeks win or loss wise, are huge. We could legitimately see Alabama or A&M in the SECCG again...

We need them back soon or we will be in trouble. Georgia abused our poor LBS.
Did McDowell look slow to you guys yesterday?

There's rumors on fl98 that JRM's shoulder is fricked up much worse than Butch has let on.
I love JRM and have since he blocked that punt against UGA in 2013 but imo, getting Kirkland back is more important as crazy as that sounds. McDowell has been solid and the gap between he and JRM is not nearly as big as the drop off from Kirkland to Jumper imo.

Jumper has played amazing these last 2 games to be fair

I am wondering if JRM doesn't have some injury worse than they are letting on. Not as bad as Inky Johnson, but something that is not going to respond through a regular term of rehab.

Jumper has played better than McDowell the last three games. Still really need Kirkland back. It really freakin sucks that JRM is out, but I am pessimistic about him returning soon.

Something odd about JRM suiting up for UF - he did play a little, but not at least suiting up for UGA.

Yes. Nauta torched him on that touchdown. Definitely think the LBs, and defense in general, gets worked this week if some guys aren't healthy enough to go.
I think our offense will score, but it might be hard to stop them if we have Foreman and backup LBs playing a lot of snaps again.

It's just not fair. The defense looked so good on paper to start the season and then three of our star players get hurt before our first conference game.
