Sure....if you make the first down. You MIGHT make the first down, but if you punt you definitely back them up.

Like I said....if we had gone for it and made it, you would have been a genius in your way of thinking. The ball was in no mans land, and your decision is as good as my thoughts. I am not saying you are wrong. I am just saying what I would have felt comfortable doing.
