It's not a comparison, it's an example. Meyer and literally every succeful coach to run a football team has had rough patches, just relax and ride this out.

Saban won everywhere once he had superior talent. Especially in the SEC. It appears to be the assumption of many here that Kirbs will run a similar path. I would love him to, but I'm not ready to assume that...

I also am not of the mindset that Kirbs should get a pass on on field issues this year just because mean old RichtyRicht left him with a team devoid of any good players...

I'd love for this team to improve this year. A good coach would make the current team better. In fact, there is no better way to judge a man's coaching ability than to see him improve the same/similar team another coach failed with... Show me they are more disciplined... Show me they are doing the little things right... Or, we can just throw our hands up in the air, blame Mike Ridge and wait for a few top three recruiting classes. Then we will be really good... You'll see...
